It’s official! I work with the most creative clients everrr! As Shelby emailed me her and Garrett’s tropical beach wedding ideas and inspiration photos, I built her custom tropical invitation design in my mind. Wow. I can not wait to share the final design with you very soon. Kissing seahorses and some of the goodies shown above and more! I am loving her choice for wedding colors, perfect for a tropical beach destination wedding. Don’t you think? If you are in the planning process of your traditional or destination wedding, remember … be creative, have fun, and enjoy the process. There are truly no RULES to choosing your colors. Just use what you LOVE. Be YOU.
Are you having a tropical, beach, destination wedding this year or in 2012? What the the color combos you are leaning toward? I can’t wait to hear from you. Ready, set, comment now…

Hello Michelle. I am in the process of planning a beach ceremony on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico on the Emerald Coast. Our wedding date is 12 May 12 and I am trying to decide on the colors. I have read about the 2012 spring color trends, but I do not see any shades of pink being popular this coming year. Do you have any suggestions on color combinations? Thank you, I really enjoy your website.

Hello Shannon, The color of pink in the color report is more of a hot bright pink. I think “light pink” is a classic color and will work perfectly for your 2012 wedding.

I am in love with the beach colors! Since we live in KS we’re getting married at our lake we go to every weekend! I want orange, blue and yellow as an accent. But no bridal store around here has the color swatches-any ideas?
