Can I buy a sample?
Absolutely! We want you to see and feel our invitations, cards and paper in person! You can order a SAMPLE PACK or go to the design page you love and click on “ADD TO BASKET” to order one sample. Due to the custom nature, each of our handmade invitation samples are made-to-order. Sample orders can not be personalized at this time. Our handmade invitation samples can not be free due to the detailed nature of our original handcrafted designs.
Do I get to see what my invitations will look like personalized with my text?
Yes. At Mospens Studio, we are professional designers who design your invitation for YOU using the perfect leading and kerning. After you order, you get a proof preview online. We only print AFTER you approve to print. Your proof is personalized for you in 1-3 business days after you order. See many more details HOW IT WORKS
Can I buy your art as a digital file?
Not at this time. For artist (the creator) Michelle Mospens to maintain all rights to her art copyright she does not sell her original art as digital files for reproduction. If you wanting, (totes, mugs, napkins, etc.) with her art, we can also offer you these items printed with her art. Just tell us via email [email protected] the item and quantity and we will give you a quote.
I painted my own art, can you print it for me?
Not at this time. Due to the high volume of custom orders and our own one-of-a-kind designs being sold, we can not take on this type of print and assembly work. Your local printer, and office supply store with an in-house printing department should be able to assist you.
Why can’t I “play” with the invitation design on your website before I order?
Mospens Studio is a very small design studio, just a husband and wife design team. Such personalization programs cost about $20,000.00. We check every year, in hopes it will do down in price. 🙂
When should I mail my invitations?
If you are having a local wedding, your wedding invitations should go out 6-8 weeks before your wedding day. For a destination wedding, you want to give your guests a earlier 3 months notice. Party invitations should be mailed out 4 weeks before your event. If you are mailing save the dates, you should send them out 6-12 months in advance depending on the location.
Can I see what my art will look like before we purchase from you?
Due to current deadlines for custom-made orders in the studio, Michelle can not hand-paint new art or hand-illustrate designs for no charge. You will have to make a purchase before working with her.
Can I send you a design I like for you to copy for me?
No and no. That is against the law and we respect other designers and do not copy their designs. At Mospens Studio we work one-on-one with you to create a one-of-a-kind design. The better way to show us what you like is show us your wedding style, wedding decor, florals you will use, and bridal gowns.
Can we pay 50% instead of full payment to start our custom invitations order?
Due to the high volume of orders, we normally do not accept 50% payment. Full payment is due to begin your bespoke / custom invitations and personalized stationery orders. However, if you order total is $2,500.00 or more, we do make exceptions. Thank you for understanding.
How do you ship?
USPS flat rate and FedEX is used for shipping. Ground shipping (from Ohio) can take 1-5 days depending on your location. It is recommended to have your package delivered to your place or work or where you will be during the day so that you can receive your package in-hand. You must keep an eye out for your package. We are not responsible for damaged, lost and/or stolen packages. We’ve been working closely with FedEX for over 15 years. We are confident you will have no worries! View the FEDEX ground map >>
Do you ship outside the U.S.A.?
Since we are a two person studio, we currently only work with clients who reside in the USA.
Can I get a refund?
If you have to cancel your order before giving approval to print, 50% may be refunded. If you cancel after you give approval to print, there are no refunds due to the custom nature and supplies ordered to complete your order. If custom hand painted or illustrated art was created for you, there are no refunds on the art fee due to the custom personalized nature and time involved.
My goods were damaged. Can you refund me?
Refunds for damaged goods only. Damaged goods must be photographed and emailed to us. We are not responsible for damage that occurs in your hands. Let’s say you spill water on paper and damage it. Water will damage paper products. Mospens Studio is not responsible. You may be asked to ship the product back to us at your cost. Damaged goods must be reported within 2 days of receipt. Personalized orders can not be refunded due to custom nature. Original form of payment is refunded in 1-2 weeks.
