RESPONSE CARD WORDING

Reply Text Etiquette suggests NOT using a reply card. Your guests are supposed to hand write their reply to you in letter form. Today, I would say 100% of wedding couples use either a reply card or request a reply via email. Response postcards are an option, however our reply cards with envelopes are used 99% of the time.

First ask yourself … Would you like to offer a food choice for your guests to add a number to? Would you like to get a number of guests per activity? Not a problem. You can easily add this on the small reply card.

FYI ~ The reply card return address contains the bride’s parents names if they are paying for the wedding.

Food Choice Maybe Needed

For instance if you are serving beef and fish, you can write in detail what kind of beef and fish you are offering your guests. They can then add their quantity needed of the specific food they would like to have. Following is one idea for your reply card text:
