Wayback Wednesday!
I was searching through my old website for the watercolor green leaves I painted for a client a long time ago and found a bunch of invitations designs that are trending now. It is so much fun to see how invitation trends come back around like clothes trends in fashion.
Hand-painted watercolor map painted in 2004. Vellum for days. Hand-torn deckled edging. Burnt edging was done in my kitchen, I would about faint when completing an order. I would catch the edge of paper on fire, then blow out. So many times, we had to open the kitchen door to outside because of all of the smoke. Wow. The memories!
So grateful elegant fonts are now trending.
I have been watercolor painting custom designs for wedding stationery for over 19 years now. I love how modern fresh and fun my current designs have been. Watercolor Invitations were not popular when I started painting them. However, I just love seeing the Watercolor Trend grow and grow. I think after so many years, it is safe to say the Watercolor trend is classic now. So beautiful and inviting! See my current portfolio and semi-custom wedding invitation collection on our site.
Old pics for fun. 😉
