Fake Moustaches are they Hair to Stay?
This morning as I awoke, I thought FAKE MOUSTACHES at weddings! Where did this idea come from? I made it my mission this morning to tackle this tickly trend. And why oh why is this trend sticking?
It turns out. It’s all in the name of FUN!
Fake moustaches on a stick, on your finger, or painted on. There are many ways to wear them.
Fake moustaches appeared on the runway in 2008. This look reminds me of Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean. Step back a bit further in time to about 1910 when Charlie Chaplin first sported the fake moustache in efforts to disguise his youth. Groucho Marx first drew on his fake moustache with grease paint. See a trend? All of these chaps have made us laugh. Therefore my conclusion, humor is where it’s at. Why are they wearing fake moustaches at weddings? They do it for the laugh. They have a great sense of humor. So if you find yourself sticking your nose up in the air at this trend. Loosen up a bit. Give a giggle and enjoy. Laughing is GOOD for you!
If you are featuring the fake moustache at your wedding, send us photos! Later we will post what we have. :-{D

A big shout out ‘thank you’ to my twitter friend Barb McMillen (aka DrSophi) for helping me research this trend in a quick manner. As I only wanted to dedicate about 1 hour to this subject.

Great article. The Mustache craze hit big in a LA. I even have a few close friends and families who got the iconic mustache tattooed on their finger.
