Today, I am so happy to share THE best painting app with you! I stumbled upon the app when I was on vacation and didn’t take my paints with me. I was about ready to pass out from creativity overload when I found the ArtRage app. I fell in love!

I love the texture, colors, and so many options it offers you. Such a great app for the DIYer or professional artist. It worked perfectly on my ipad (I have an older ipad and it worked great!).

You see I was painting on large canvases to experiment, then next thing I know I was filling up my studio / office (I’m a full-time illustrator / surface designer) with paintings. I decided to try a painting sketch / rough on the ArtRage app and loved the versatility it offered.

See a few examples below. … Now I go to the app and sketch out my creative vision in “digital paint form” then reproduce by painting by hand on canvas if I love it. Such a breeze and truly rewarding for that instant Art Fix.

I love this abstract art digital painting I created using the app. So dreamy! I hope to one day repaint on large canvas.
